We are delighted and proud to have been shortlisted for the Independent Schools of the Year 2020 Awards Performing Arts category!

The programme ignites passion and enthusiasm, encourages commitment and develops creative confidence in our pupils that spans across all subject areas. Performing Arts is an integral part of a Surbiton High School education allowing a breadth of opportunity not seen in many schools.

Our inclusive 'for all' ethos sees a huge variety of opportunity for our pupils, spanning Year 7 productions to whole-school productions performed at the New Wimbledon theatre and immersive performances in Bedouin tents and gothic lodges! Musical opportunities provide over 25 different co-curricular musical groups and ensembles.

Our innovative approach to Performing Arts sees the school being fortunate to have a Composer in residence and a Director in residence; providing real-world connections and demonstrating our commitment to ingenuity.
